Amboseli National Park
The Ol Doinyo Orok massif, rocky terrain, open plains, swamps and marshes plus the spectacular Mt. Kilimanjaro in the south make the shape of Amboseli national park. The park accessed through Nairobi-Mombasa road via Emali and following the main Kajjado - Namanga - Arusha road, then going through the main gate at Namanga to Ol Tukai Lodge. Most times the park is hot and dry.
Wildlife Attractions
The park is a sanctuary to animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, waterbucks, Masai giraffe, zebra and many others.
The Amboseli National Park is famous for its big game, which includes elephants, lions and cheetahs. Zebras, Masai giraffe, waterbucks are some of the other commonly available game at the eastern side of the park. Birds in the park include vultures, Taveta Golden Weaver, Taita Falcon, the Lapwing, the Madagascar Squacco Heron and the Southern Branded Harrier Eagle.
