3 Days: Gorilla Tracking - Mgahinga

Day 1
Have breakfast to be transferred to the airstrip at Kajjansi of the airport to catch your charter flight to Kisoro airstrip where you will meet the Access guide and be transferred to Mgahinga National Park. You will have lunch to go for guided nature walks and visit the Batwa caves in the forest. Dinner and overnight Mount Gahinga Lodge.

Day 2
Go for briefing at the park headquarters before you proceed with the tracking of gorillas. The activity takes about 1-8 hours depending on the movement of these close relatives of man. It is strenuous and tiring, however the experience you derive on encountering these humble giants erases the poor memories. “It’s awe-inspiring.” Dinner and overnight at Mount Gahinga Lodge.

Day 3
Have breakfast to transfer to Kisoro airstrip and take a charter flight back to Entebbe.
