3 days/2 nights:Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest lies in South-Western Uganda. It is the home to more than half the world endangered mountain gorilla. The forest is estimated to harbor more than 330 mountain gorillas of the world’s 600 mountain gorillas. With a thick tropical rain forest, this national park boasts of a rich fauna and flora in the world. The Western Rift Valley adds to its beauty and makes it share a vast number of animal and bird species endemic to the Albertine Rift.
Gorilla tracking takes precedence over other activities in the park. Gorilla tracking permits are only available to a few visitors. So you need to book three months in advance.
The 3 days' Gorilla Safari Itinerary is as follows:
Day one:
As early as 7.00 am our tour guide will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through ‘the Switzerland of Africa’ - Kigezi Highlands reaching Bwindi in the evening-here you will enjoy a dinner and an overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp or similar.
Day Two:
After breakfast you will be briefed by a ranger guide on how you will successfully carry out gorilla tracking as you penetrate the thick forest for the rare mountain gorilla in their natural setting. You will be able to view various mammals in the forest including the endangered mountain gorilla itself, the buffaloes, black-fronted duiker, leopards, giant forest hog, and the rare golden monkeys among others. The various bird and butterfly species will also satisfy your anxiety. Later in the afternoon return to the Bandas for a rest.
Have an overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp (full board).
Day Three:
After breakfast you can now move back to Kampala. Enjoy your lunch at a Hotel Mbarara. You will reach Kampala by evening and move to Hotel Africana for a dinner and an overnight (full board).

Included in the 3-day’s Gorilla Tracking Itinerary are the following:-
- Ground transportation (to & from Kampala- Bwindi) by a 4*4 land cruiser
- Accommodation on Full Board basis
- Park entrance fees
- Tour guide’s fees
