4 days:Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NPs

Day 1:
By 7.30 am have your breakfast with the help of our guide proceed to Western Uganda en route have your photographs taken at the equator, thence head for ‘The Mountains Of The Moon’, i.e. The Rwenzori Mountains. As you cruise in a boat across Kazinga Channel to Lake Edward you will be able to see a multitude of hippos. Overland you will enjoy more game viewing as mammals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, different antelope species and mongoose among others. This boat cruise will surely expose you to exciting game viewing and birdlife with unique bird species that can only be found there and not else where in the country. Over 500 bird species are endemic to this park.
Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (FB).

Day 2:
After breakfast begin with a game drive along Kasenyi track as you continue via Maramagambo and Ishasha towards Bwindi viewing elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, mongoose, waterbucks, topi and a variety of birds.
Have a rest at Gorilla Resort camp or similar.

Day 3: Gorilla safari in Bwindi
The penetration of this forest is not without relative difficulty. Being a thick rain forest, you will have to follow animal trails, which will eventually lead you to the most exciting and playful mountain gorillas. On encounter of these gentle giants, you are only allowed to stay with them for 1 hour. One would be forced to exclaim that, it is exhilarating! as you will also be compelled to photograph them. Flash camera will not be allowed.

Day 4:
Have an early breakfast and return to Kampala. On your way if time allows you may make a stopover at Namajjuzi conservation site to watch some interesting birds such as shoebill stork if you are lucky and some antelopes in the swamp. By evening, you will be back in Kampala or Entebbe for your flight back home.
