2 days:Safari To Lake Mburo National Park

Day 1
Your safari guide will meet you at hotel and depart by road to Lake Mburo National Park taking approximately 3-4 hours. The Park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains. A stopover to look at the Equator for photographs, and at Royal Drum makers, with Lunch Enroute. Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. This scenic drive will give you views of big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates and Bird viewing opportunities are excellent - for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike. After checking in, you will take a late afternoon game drive or a dug out canoe. Dinner and Overnight in Mantana Tented Camp/ UWA Bandas (FB)

Day 2
After an early morning breakfast you will have a guided nature walk. A ranger guide takes you on foot to the bush. This walk takes you to the Salt Lick Area. A strategically located wooden platform (Observation point) offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick the salty soil. Lake Mburo is the only place in this part of Uganda where you can see zebra and Impala and it’s also the best place to see the African Eland, Africa’s largest antelope!

Return to Kampala arriving in the early afternoon.
